On his 12/03 episode of his radio show Mark Levin confessed that he is "leaning towards Fred Thompson" while officially supporting nobody in the GOP Primary.

I'm making a list.  The items won't stay here; they will go on Apologies Demanded.

Bigotry in Defense of Mormonism

I love Mormons.  Never mind that.

In a particular incarnation, Mormons (walking the streets doing what they believe is the Lord's will) bug the hell out of me.  Never mind that.

Does Hugh Hewitt have a strange over-reactionary tendency to every Conservative and Christian critical of Governor Mitt Romney's beliefs?  All signs points to 'YES'.

Is there a certain degree of bigotry inherent in lumping all self-proclaimed Christian groups into one supergroup?  That is debatable but I'll take the side that believes anybody declaring Mormons to just be Christians is a body that is insulting.  Certainly there has to be some dogmatic antipathy towards a group in order to declare anyone that fits that particular description to be a "bigot."

Welcome to Candidate Judgment!!

I have many weblogs so one more seems almost redundant if it has not a specific purpose.

This journal is to educate others and to record for myself my own thoughts and notions on the various candidates for various public offices, and at tangents other individual agents in other fields.

My credentials for this are simple even stating them takes an act of long-windedness.  I am an old campaigner, of sorts, for my age, working on some important project or another since the year 2000.  I have been trained in the ways by Dan Pero, who managed the successful John Engler gubernatorial campaigns and the less-than-successful Lamar Alexander presidential campaign.  I also trained under the Leadership Institute, which has many fine classes.

I have been blogging since early 2003.

The Republican Presidential candidates, running for the Republican primary, are as of this writing Mitt Romney, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Sam Brownback, Duncan Hunter, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, Ron Paul, and Tom Tancredo.  Prospective candidates who almost will surely run include Fred Thompson and Newt Gingrich.  A candidate with no chance at all, but has his papers filed with the FEC since 2006 is John Cox.  There are others.

The Democrat Presidential candidates are Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Joe Biden, Christopher Dodd and Dennis Kucinich; I will consider Bill Richardson among that number.  Al Gore will almost certainly run.  Of course there are others to consider.

I hope to follow up on each individual candidate.  This is, after all, the Candidate Judgment.
